India is a developing country where the importance of skilled professional plays a vital role for nation building. Industrial training institutes are setup with an aim to produce skilled professional to cater need of industries and other fields. In Odisha there were few Govt. ITI up-to the year 2000. Now the number of ITI’s have been increased to 75 and steps have been taken by the govt. to open more number of Govt. ITIs.

The ITI course Curriculum is designed in such a manner that it is practical oriented as compared Diploma and degree course. The maintenance, Production and other works in industries and other fields is done by ITI trainees for which they need to excel in practical training. Therefore Govt. have introduced Odisha Skill Development Authority and number of initiatives have been taken for development of ITI’s and to produce skilled Professional such that they will be recognized globally as “Skilled in Odisha”.

Therefore, the Youth of Odisha who are passing the High school examination should take the opportunity to be a part of Govt. Industrial training Institute and avail the facilities provided by the Govt and make the skilled in Odisha campaign a reality.
